布魯塞爾恐攻事件，比利時各大媒體25日質疑官方欠缺警覺性。對此，警方坦言疏失，證實去年12月時就已經知道造成130人死亡的巴黎恐攻主嫌阿布岱斯蘭（Salah Abdeslam）的住所，卻沒有呈報到最高層，錯失逮捕他的機會。
布魯塞爾恐怖攻擊機場自殺炸彈客巴克勞伊（Ibrahim El Bakraoui）在遺囑中說，阿布岱斯蘭18日在比利時被逮捕後，他很擔心會成為阿布岱斯蘭的獄友，才會鋌而走險。
當地媒體引述不具名的警方消息來源指出，位於布魯塞爾北部的小鎮麥克蘭（Mechelen）警方在去年12月初，就掌握了阿布岱斯蘭的藏身處，但這項通報只到地方警局層級，因而錯失提早逮捕他的機會，再次凸顯比利時司法單位過於散漫的問題。
輿論質疑，若是比利時警局更有警覺性，能夠及早逮獲阿布岱斯蘭，或許可以破獲他的犯罪網路，避免22日的恐怖攻擊。
麥克蘭警局局長柏格茨（Yves Bogaerts）證實媒體的報導，並坦華納威秀 網路訂票 取票言疏失。他指出，一名員警在去年12月7日通報有線民透露，阿布岱斯蘭曾和一名叫做阿伯坎（Aberkan）的男子接觸，阿伯坎正是阿布岱斯蘭遭到逮捕公寓屋主的兒子。
